10 Easy and Healthy Snack Ideas

Admit it: when maintaining a healthy lifestyle, healthy snacks aren’t what we always crave. Also, healthy options are not always available for us as much as processed and unhealthy food. This is typically where people start to go off track with their healthy eating habits and revert to bad eating habits. With these healthy and easy snack options, you are sure to beat those nasty sugar cravings and stay on track to keep up a healthy lifestyle!

Try adding these low calorie and low fat snacks to tide you over throughout the day to keep on your healthy lifestyle!

1.)  Add more to your apple with peanut butter snack. Try apples, strawberries, and peanut butter.
2.) Get fancy with some about a cup of grapes and some cheese.
3.) Dip some Triscuit crackers in cottage cheese. For a low carb diet, switch out the crackers for celery (or any vegetable!).
4.) Strawberry and cottage cheese is filled with fiber that will keep you full.
5.) Raspberries (or any type of berry!) with non-fat yogurt.
6.) Childhood classic… Ants on a log – raisins, peanut butter, and celery
7.) Fill up your avocado with low-fat cottage cheese.
8.) Protein packed, Omega-3 enriched, and for about 200 calories, enjoy tuna on whole wheat crackers.For a low carb diet, switch out the crackers for cucumbers.
9.) Stay full with an apple but add in some protein with cottage cheese.
10.) Fresh veggies dipped in lite vinaigrette dressing (be sure to check the sugar content of the dressing!).
