Role Modeling Healthy Habits & Body Image for Your Kids

One major part of a person’s adult life influenced by our parents: eating habits. The eating, drinking, and snacking habits of our parents and families have a lasting effect, and everyone grows up a little differently and absorbs different habits.

This got me thinking about the examples my parents set for me and my brother, and the habits and attitudes I want to model for my baby daughter. As she is growing and learning about the world around her, she is a little sponge, a copycat. The norms we demonstrate to her on a daily basis will influence and stay with her. Continue reading
